| Islam (solely according to what i believe) | for everyone |
salam everyone,
after a creative event called muslim monday which initiated by sis rebecca, now we have another creative event, it's called thinking thursday (initiated by sis ummali/amira). everyweek, there'll be a theme that would be a bit thoughtful one.
i know that thursday's over. i just came to my blog yesterday morning, i didnt catch up anything on multiply for about 2 days. so more likely, it's my defence for being late to join this event. lol.
on this first week, the theme is "islam". and the question thrown which we should ponder and share with others is : when you hear the word Islam, what's the first thing that comes to mind?
what kind of human being (who is practically a creature of the one and only creator), whose name had been place after the creator by the creator Himself? he must be someone whose natures which reflect his creator's natures.
perfection is Allah. Allah is perfection. and Allah with all His mercy wants the people to come to Him(SWT), to pursue the status to be the one who is near Him(SWT). that means Allah wants us to pursuing the perfection. and Allah must have provided the way for us to gain this pursuit.
He(SWT) knows that people need a role model to be followed. a perfect guide who is the best person who will show people the way to acquire their main goal, to be with Allah. the perfect person, that if any man stands up for him, then Allah will reckon that man as a true believer. and conversely, if any man does not stand up for this holy person, Allah will reckon that man as a non true believer. this man with the whole dimensions he posses, will be the leader of the believers. and the holy prophet Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Abdul muthalib (SAWW), is the man who's appointed by Allah to be the person. He(Muhammad SAWW) is the divine man.
The holy Quran surah Al-Fath(48:29) :
"Muhammad is the messenger of Allah; and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each other. Thou wilt see them bow and prostrate themselves (in prayer), seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. On their faces are their marks, (being) the traces of their prostration. This is their similitude in the Taurat; and their similitude in the Gospel is: like a seed which sends forth its blade, then makes it strong; it then becomes thick, and it stands on its own stem, (filling) the sowers with wonder and delight. As a result, it fills the Unbelievers with rage at them. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous deeds forgiveness, and a great Reward."
may we all will be gathered by Allah among the true followers of Muhammad on the hereafter, insyaallah. Shalawat! Allahumma shalli ala sayyidina muhammad wa ala aali sayyidina muhammad.

the first thing that comes to my mind when i hear the word islam is MUHAMMAD (SAWW).

with the word Allah. the word muhammad is in the core statement of
islam, laa ila ha ilallah, muhammaddarosulullah (no God but Allah, and
