i only have a plain and simple answer : an american is someone whose american citizenship card.
i used to think that the foreign policies of usa were the reflection of its people thoughts. but by the passage of the time, with all the the changes the world has nowadays, i come to realize that most people of america are quite similar to most people of other countries. most of them are the victims of their deceiving government. like most people of other countries, americans have to face the harsh of economic life and all other hardships.
though there's something that americans have which not had by people of other countries. as the citizens of such a great country like usa, they infact have the bigger opportunity to help the world to be a better place. their citizenships combined with their full awareness of what is really going on in this world, i believe, they have the chance to make some good changes to this world and insyaallah they can get their dignity back, the dignity of being a free people.
as someone who is from other country i just hope americans to listen to their conscience, for it only tells u what is the truth. and dont let anyone hinder you from doing what is right, not even your government.
