as i posted on a quick note before, i had a plan to take zahra to see ice age 3 in the movie theatre. we took her last monday night. we actually went off since afternoon, but we got the ticket for the last showtime. it was begun at 8.45 pm. and we got the seat on the fourth row from the foremost seats. it was kind of irritating actually, but i guess we couldnt go back home just like that after standing in line for almost half hour. besides, it's holiday season. kids are having school days off. so, it will always be this crowded everyday. then we decided to go for the movie that night.

actually, it's for the second time zahra goes to the movie theatre. the first was kung fu panda. and it was long time ago. i'm curious to see her progress in controlling her hyperactivity while watching the entire movie.

so, after buying the 3 tickets, we still had time like 3 hours untill the showtime came. zahra decided to drag us to the park in that mall. it's some sort of mini park in a mall where we can get in some ridings such as jet coaster and others.

zahra's favorite riding is jet coaster of course. it's a mini jetcoaster, wont really erupt your adrenalin. though for a kid at zahra's age it's pretty cool. so she definetely dragged her dad to go with her on the jet coaster.
i got the chaperoning job when she chose another riding. it's the one where you sit on a seat and then the axis machine will twirl and swirl your seats so fast..oh God..as we stopped, i thought i was about to vomit..yeah, i guess i'm getting old..lol

enough with the ridings. i couldnt stand another ridings, though zahra seemed to be really forgo to take another ridings..unfortunately, none of her parents were brave enough to spare another guts. lol. alhamdulillah, she was quite coorporative and no long cryings. in a while she decided to have a dinner. so, we ate at the restaurant zahra picked.

finally, the showtime came. and we went to the movie theatre.

at first, zahra wanted to sit on my lap, just like what she did while watching kung fu panda. but i decided to make a strict rule that she can watch movie only if she sit on her own seat during the show. and alhamdulillah, she was capable of adjusting to the new rule.

and when the light was turned off, she got scared and asked me to cuddle her. the cuddling was only going for less then 10 minutes, because she finally got her self-confidence and could sit still and enjoyed the movie without me cuddling her during the movie. alhamdulillah.

did she like the movie?
maybe she wasnt interested in the whole part of the movie, though i'm certain that she really loved those 2 ancient squirrels, you know..the ones who are always busy chasing the canary...she always laughed when the movie jumped to these squirrels part. well, i liked them myself. i think they are just crazy, and i suppose, they were created as the representation or some sort of a symbol of the blind love of worldly happiness. lol

so, in general, the plan was succed. and now i'm more convinced that zahra is able to control herself much better than before. alhamdulillah. and i probably will take her to see another movie..but still have no idea which movie will be suitable for little kids..any idea?
