show love to the holy prophet Muhammad SAWW - for muslim monday

for everyone
salam everyone
i know i know...it's kind of late to post sumthing for muslim monday this week, and i'd like to apologize for that. i actually have noticed the theme for this week since monday morning. the theme is: "show your love to the holy prophet muhammad". it's a tough one for me. it took 2 days for me untill i come up with something to share.

i dont know all proper words to be used to describe this holy man's personality, neither in my mother's tounge nor in english. so, out of my lack capacity to articulate the expression my love to the holy prophet, i choose the verse in quran which mentions how to show our love to the beloved prophet of Allah. here goes:

al-ahzab:56 "Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect.

in that verse, Allah taught us, the believers, how to show our love to prophet muhammad, which is by reciting shalawat.

i myself, want to be with Allah and His angels, to send my blessings on prophet muhammad. and as a mother, i'd like my kid to do the same. i'd like to teach my kid how to show our love to the holy prophet in the way Allah taught us in the holy quran, reciting shalawat.

for people without any particular neurological issue, reciting shalawat seems to be an easy and simple thing to do. but not to an autistic person like my kid zahra. for autistic person, especially the non-verbal one, arranging words and putting them together in a long sentence, could take a double extra hardwork. they need to maintain their concentration to synchronize their input and output pathways censory in order to keep focusing on it. in short, the simple thing to do for us, could be a struggle to them.

though, i do believe that even people with severe neurologic problem do have the same right as other people in term to know about their creator and what their creator taught them to do. out of this basis, i still taught zahra how to recite shalawat even after she was confirmed as a non-verbal autistic child. i did it like anytime and anywhere, from the time she woke up untill the time before she went to sleep and especially whenever she was about to start to do things; to eat, to drink, to read, to ride bike, to go outside, to sing, anything. and alhamdulillah, it worked. now, eventhough the articulation is still not clear, she is able to recite shalawat independently. it would sound like this:

"awwahumma showw aawa muhammed waa aawi muhammed"

lol, it's kind of cute i think. well, for a 6,5 years old autistic girl, who was diagnosed as a non-verbal autistic, it's it's a tremendeous achievement. alhamdulillah.

how Allah's mercy never stops go on me.... :-)

so guys, for now, this is the least thing i can do to show my love to holy prophet muhammad. i hope we all will be gathered among the true believers of Muhammad SAWW on the hereafter, by Allah SWT. amain yaa robbal alamin.

nice to share with u all :-)
