| fast forwarding life...where's the button?... | for everyone |

december last year, we had this trip to lembang, it's a small sub urban
city, between bandung and sumedang (it's in west java). from jakarta we
took the route through purwakarta-sumedang and then lembang. of course
it was a super hilly road, since these cities are located in moutain
range. so, when we were about to get into lembang district, there was
fog, a really heavy one. the upper we got, the fog became heavier.
untill at one point we could only see the light of other car in front of
ours and it was not farther than 3 metres. so our car ran sooo slowly,
at one point i thought maybe if went outside for a little while, and
bought some baked corn and drank some hot milk and went to the bathroom,
still i would be able to catch up our car with just a little run (but i
was too lazy to prove that,lol). but alhamdulillah, after less than 15
minutes the fog began to fade and the air got clear again. we can see
all the beutiful views on that mountain range again, crystal clear.despite all the unconvinience during that moment, in some weird way, i could gain a lesson from that foggy moment. in life, we all have our own foggy moments. the moment when everything seems so blur and we have no idea about how would be the coming. and at that moment, sometimes we really want to fast forward life. if life had a remote control we would be more likely trying hard to find where the fast-forward button is. but life doesnt have it. there is no such of button. all we can do is to reduce our speed a little while, try to be more relax, keep focusing and concentrating, refrain ourselves from panicking, and no hurry most importantly, never stop praying. they are not easy things to do. but hey, who says it's easy to climb a mountain? it's never easy to get to a higher place.
subhanallah, how we can gain the lessons from Allah anywhere, anytime or when we are with anyone..thanks to Allah..
